Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end store design and rollout projects across the region, from concept development through handover and post-occupancy evaluation.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets and resources; drive milestone delivery and cost control while preserving brand quality standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including retail operations, visual merchandising, buying, legal and property teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Select, contract and supervise external consultants, architects, contractors and specialist vendors; conduct site inspections and quality control.
  • Translate brand design briefs into technical drawings and specifications; ensure compliance with local building codes, health & safety and permitting requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports, risk logs and change requests to senior management; institute corrective actions where required.
  • Oversee procurement of FF&E and technical installations and manage logistics for store openings, refits and seasonal rollouts.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record managing medium-to-large retail store design and fit-out projects in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience controlling project budgets, forecasting costs and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate multicultural teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations, permitting processes and health & safety standards relevant to retail fit-outs.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP) or formal training in project management, architecture, interior design or construction management are advantageous.

Experience
