Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
  • Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation, and analysis.
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proven experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a proven track record in a senior accounting or financial management position.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
