Alaïa Paris seeks a Supply Chain Assistant Intern to support inventory, order follow-up and logistics coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily supply chain operations including order entry, order follow-up and status tracking across internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain and reconcile inventory records; assist with stock monitoring, cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
  • Prepare and update operational reports and KPIs to inform replenishment and logistics planning.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse and logistics providers to ensure timely shipments and documentation compliance.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects to optimise lead times and reduce stock friction.
  • Assist with customs, shipping documentation and supplier communications as required.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Business.
  • Strong organisational skills and rigorous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work to tight deadlines.
  • Previous internship or coursework in logistics, inventory management or fashion operations is an advantage.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to liaise with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.

Microsoft Excel (advanced: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning) ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) — order management and data entry Microsoft PowerPoint — reporting and presentation preparation Inventory management and stock reconciliation Data analysis and KPI reporting

Experience

Internship-level role; no substantial professional experience required. Prior internships or project work in logistics, supply chain or fashion operations is a plus.

Education

Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate programme (Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business or equivalent).
