Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the industrialization process from prototype to production launch for ready-to-wear collections, ensuring conformity with design intent and quality standards.
- Produce and maintain detailed technical packs (specs), tolerances, size grading and bill of materials for each style.
- Coordinate fit sessions and provide actionable technical feedback to pattern makers, sample makers and designers.
- Liaise with internal ateliers and external suppliers to monitor sampling cycles, lead times and production readiness.
- Drive problem-solving around construction, fittings, pattern translation and assembly methods to optimize manufacturability.
- Validate materials, trims and finishing processes with sourcing and quality teams to ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Follow up pre-production and production samples (PP/First Article) and conduct quality checks throughout pilot runs.
- Contribute to cost-control and feasibility reviews in collaboration with production planning and sourcing.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent vocational training in apparel production.
- Strong technical understanding of garment construction, patternmaking and grading principles.
- Proven ability to prepare and maintain comprehensive technical packs and spec sheets.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination with design, sourcing, ateliers and external factories.
- Fluent in the practical languages of fit assessment and quality control; attention to detail and methodical documentation habits.
- Ability to prioritise multiple styles and meet tight seasonal deadlines in a fast-paced design environment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years' professional experience in industrialization or technical development for ready-to-wear; experience within a luxury or premium apparel house and familiarity with atelier production is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree or vocational diploma in Fashion, Textile/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical training in apparel production.
