Alaïa — Paris: Client Engagement Assistant (Intern). Support CRM, VIP clienteling and events for the Paris couture house.
Overview
Alaïa is a Paris-based luxury fashion house renowned for sculptural tailoring, immaculate craftsmanship and close client relationships. The brand operates couture ateliers and a network of boutiques worldwide, offering a refined, design-led working environment typical of an independent high-fashion maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day clienteling activities across boutiques and the central client services team, including appointment scheduling and follow-up communications.
- Maintain and update the CRM with accurate client profiles, purchase histories and notes; assist with data hygiene and segmentation for campaigns.
- Prepare VIP client dossiers and briefings for sales teams and designers; coordinate bespoke order tracking and delivery logistics.
- Assist in the design and execution of client events, private viewings and trunk shows, including guest lists, invitations and on-site support.
- Draft and send personalised client communications (email and phone), manage requests for styling, personalisation and alterations.
- Liaise with retail teams, e‑commerce and ateliers to ensure a seamless client experience and timely resolution of client inquiries.
- Support basic analysis of client activity and campaign performance to inform outreach priorities and retention initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in luxury management, marketing, communications or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, discretion and a client-first mindset suited to high-net-worth clientele.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional telephone manner and experience handling confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams and work flexibly to support events and peak retail periods.

Experience
Internship-level role; previous retail, client services or luxury brand internships are strongly preferred. Experience supporting events or VIP clientele is an advantage.
Education
Enrolment in a relevant higher-education programme (Bachelor's or Master's) in luxury management, marketing, communications, business or a closely related discipline.
