Fragrance Consultant
Acqua di Parma seeks a Fragrance Consultant at Selfridges Exchange Manchester to drive counter sales and deliver luxury client service.
Overview

The brand operates through branded counters and boutiques in premium department stores and cultivates a highly service-oriented retail environment focused on heritage, craftsmanship and personalised client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive counter sales and achieve individual and collective sales targets as set by the Account Manager.
- Set up, monitor and follow weekly and monthly objectives; collate and submit sales data to the Account Manager by agreed deadlines.
- Deliver a luxury level of customer service to develop client loyalty and achieve 100% mystery shopping and service KPIs.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities, promote in-store events and engage department store clients and colleagues to maximise revenue.
- Maintain merchandising standards and basic stock levels on the counter in line with company guidelines; perform monthly KPI reviews.
- Handle customer complaints discreetly and effectively, escalating to the Account Manager as required.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with store management and adhere to all company and store policies.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience within beauty, fragrance or luxury goods preferred.
- Demonstrable selling and communication skills with a commercial mindset.
- Customer-focused, professional and proactive with strong problem-solving ability.
- Able to work collaboratively within a counter team and liaise effectively with department store stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail or cosmetics counter experience is desirable but not mandatory. Demonstrable sales aptitude and customer service track record preferred.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational or sales qualifications in beauty/retail are advantageous.
