Acqua di Parma in Bern seeks a Counter Manager (80–100%) at Globus Bern—permanent full-time role leading sales, client service and counter operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised consultations to local and international clientele to maximise conversion and client satisfaction.
  • Sell the full Acqua di Parma assortment (fragrances, home fragrances, shaving, leather and travel collections) and achieve sales targets.
  • Lead the counter’s commercial development: analyse and manage KPIs, implement sales initiatives and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage stock levels and perform inventory activities to ensure optimal product availability.
  • Execute client retention activities and maintain CRM database integrity for follow-up and loyalty-building.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and in-store presentation comply with Acqua di Parma brand standards.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and assist with daily cash handling and periodic inventory counts.
  • Contribute to brand building at the Globus Bern counter and collaborate closely with the wider retail team.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience in perfumery or luxury beauty retail sales.
  • Deep knowledge of fragrances and the luxury beauty market.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in German; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse sales KPIs and translate insight into commercial action.
  • Customer-focused, reliable, and able to work independently while supporting team objectives.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in perfumery or luxury beauty retail sales with demonstrated commercial results.

Education

Vocational diploma or equivalent in retail, sales, cosmetology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
