Our Commitment

Cerulean is committed to ensuring that its platform is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that equal access to career opportunity in luxury is not simply a legal obligation but a reflection of the values we have articulated in our Diversity & Inclusion commitment — and those values cannot be selectively applied.

We work continuously to ensure that ceruleanjobs.com meets the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility.

What We Do

Semantic HTML Cerulean’s pages are built using semantic HTML — ensuring that content is structured meaningfully and that assistive technologies such as screen readers can interpret and navigate it accurately.

Keyboard Navigation All interactive elements on the platform — navigation menus, search controls, form fields, and links — are fully accessible via keyboard, without requiring a mouse or touch device.

Contrast and Colour Our colour palette has been designed to meet WCAG minimum contrast ratios for text against background colours, ensuring readability for users with visual impairments, including colour vision deficiency.

Images and Icons All informative images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked to be ignored by assistive technologies. Iconography is supplemented with text labels where necessary for comprehension.

Font and Text Text is set at a base size that can be scaled by the user’s browser settings without loss of functionality or layout integrity. Line spacing and letter spacing have been chosen for maximum legibility.

Focus Indicators Focus states are visible on all interactive elements, enabling users who navigate by keyboard to track their position on the page at all times.

Known Limitations

We are committed to continuous improvement and acknowledge that, like all complex web applications, Cerulean may have areas where our accessibility standard falls short of our aspiration. We actively work to identify and remediate these issues.
